Do I even need this course?
The recurring continuing-education requirement does not apply to a dealer who sells vehicles on a wholesale basis only and who, in a one-year period, deals with fewer than 50 vehicles subject to registration. Confirm the actual license type and count before relying on the exception.
How fast can this be done?
Standard: certificate by the next business day. Rush: same day — that’s what the $100 rush fee buys. What nobody can promise is how fast DMV processes the renewal after filing; we promise our side and walk you through theirs.
What happens after the course?
After successful completion and the required identity and program checks, the applicable completion certificate can be issued on the current official form. The certificate does not itself guarantee acceptance or license renewal.
What do I need to bring?
A current California driver license or ID card. It’s required for admission — without it, no provider is allowed to issue your certificate.
